Write pages with AI
Your notes in, a finished page out
The AI writes the page, and the MyOnePage plugin opens it in Obsidian, where you edit it in place and share it. Any AI chat works. Claude works best once it has the page format as a skill.
No plugin yet? Get MyOnePage for Obsidian (free): click Install there, then Install and Enable in Obsidian.
Any AI chat, no setup
- In Obsidian, open your notes and click Make a page with AI (in the note's ⋯ menu at the top right; or the page icon in the left ribbon, then With AI, from your notes).
- Optionally pick a template under Start from (an investor update, a board pre-read, a client proposal…): the AI follows its outline. Then click Copy the request and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any AI chat.
- Copy the AI's whole answer, paste it into Paste the AI's answer, and click Make the page.
Started from a template already? Click Fill it with AI above the page, paste the request into your chat with your notes, and the answer fills in that page.
The page opens as a new note next to your notes, which stay as they are. If the AI wrote something the page doesn't understand, it stays as plain text and the plugin tells you, so nothing is lost.
Claude: give it the format once
A skill teaches Claude the whole page format and the templates, so its pages need fewer fixes. It takes a minute, once, in the Claude app or on claude.ai.
Download the Claude skillmyone-page-skill.zip · keep it zipped- In Claude, open Settings → Capabilities. If Code execution and file creation is off, turn it on: skills need it.
- Open Customize → Skills, click +, then Create skill → Upload a skill, and choose
myone-page-skill.zip. Don't unzip it first. - In a new chat, write “Make a one-pager from these notes” and paste your notes or attach the files.
- Copy Claude's answer, then in Obsidian click Make a page with AI, paste it into Paste the AI's answer and click Make the page.
On a paid Claude plan you can skip the download: in Customize → Plugins, click Add → Add marketplace → Add from a repository, enter itsdionis/MyOnePage, and add myone-page. It stays up to date.
No copy and paste: with the skill added, use Cowork in the Claude desktop app, choose your vault's folder, and ask it to write the page there. The note opens in Obsidian as a page by itself.
Coding agents
Claude Code, Codex or Cursor working in your vault: in Obsidian, open Settings → MyOnePage, and under Coding agents click Set up. The skill and its checker go into the vault, and the plugin keeps them up to date.
